Coming soon, Mech Invasion, an exteremly fun and addictive Tower Defense style game for the Palm Pre and Palm Pixi. Keep an eye out and send feedback as to how much you enjoy it. Info can be found here: http://www.javasanity.org/MechInvasion.
You've always had the ability to backup and restore your grocery list DB by connecting your Palm Device as a USB device and backing up the ".app-storage" folder, but since most operating systems hide folders that begin with a ".", it can be challenging explaining how to do this over email, so I've put together some scripts to make it easier. These scripts work only on windows and the instructions were designed on a Windows XP System.

GroceryList is the ultimate shopping list program for the Palm Pre and Palm Pixi. GroceryList was designed with one thing in mind: Speed! Don't enter data when you can search for it! Search for stores using your current location. Search for items in an on-line database of common Grocery Items and add them with a tap. Heading to Taco Bell and have a big order? The store search feature is not limited to just Grocery Stores! After adding a store using store search, if you want to call the store to find their hours, just tap Menu -> Store -> Call. Are you sending someone else to the store to buy your items? You can email your buy list to any email address, then they can print it out and take it with them!
You can add one item to multiple stores and then buy it at the first store you happen to stop at. Checking out items at one store updates all stores! You can set per-store aisles and prices.
If the above isn't enough, there is integration with an on-line GroceryList as well, which allows you to enter items on-line and download them to your device. The on-line GroceryList provides two excellent advantages. 1. Anyone in the family can add items at any time without even having the device present. 2. You can use a real computer keyboard to add items to your grocery list if you have many items to add! Put that laptop sitting in your kitchen to good use! Adding items from your on-line List is as easy as a tap.
Your webOS shopping list items have a name, category, aisle, quantity, and price. You can also indicate that you have a coupon for an item and it will be visible in your List. You just can't go wrong with GroceryList.
Many of the features listed here were a direct result of customer feedback. If there is something you'd like to see in a future version, do not hesitate to send a support email!
This version fixes some additional screen refresh issues. If you haven't updated, hold off for this one.
This version corrects some minor refresh issues.
These customer requested features will be available when it is published.
The following customer requested features were added in 1.2.3:
Version 1.2.2 adds these customer requested features.
If you created your ShoppingList/Store by using the store search feature, it should have both telephone and location information associated with it. GroceryList now has a menu option that allows you to call the store (if the phone number is indeed available) and to view the store on the map! Once you've got the map open with the Store's location, you can easily get driving directions by tapping "Menu -> Get Directions".
Version 1.2.0 was just published to the app store and it includes a very significant update over the previous version.
Version 1.1.0 was just published to the palm app store today! This version includes some great new features, the biggest feature added was the ability to add items using a real computer. Log in to the on-line grocery list, add up to 30 items, then any device linked to that account can download all or some of the items that show up online with a tap of a button.
Also included in this release are some much needed improvements, such as aisles being displayed in the buy list view as well as the ability to check out and delete only checked items. Another new feature is the ability to email your Buy List to someone else. See GroceryList Menu -> Email Buy List.
If you have ideas for new features or don't like the way something works, please don't hesitate to email me. You can provide feedback on your device by tapping "Help", "Send Email". I will try to respond within a day.
These are the items I'm working on at the moment:
The first thing you'll want to do is add a shopping list. I suggest searching for a store near you and adding a list from that. If you would like to use a custom list name rather than a store specific one, you can do that as well. On the search screen, there is a '+' button you can use to create a list using a custom name.

After creating a list, you can tap on it to see the Buy List for that store. Items in this list would be "checked off" as you pick up items you need and add them to your shopping cart.

The search screen is the main place to go when wanting to add items to your shopping list. Searching from this one screen will return results both from the online database of common grocery items as well as your local database of items you've used in the past. If an item is found in both places, only your local result is returned so that you can add it to your shopping list and it will retain all of the custom edits you've done to price, aisle, etc.

You also have a Recent Items list. Now that search will return results both from the Recent Items and the shared online database of items, I expect most people will only use this page in order manage the list of recent items (in particular, just to delete items if they want to get rid of something).

Then there is the Online GroceryList page, that shows you a list of items added to your on-line grocery list. This displays all items added on-online and allows you to download any or all of them to your current store's Buy List. You can register to use the online grocery list by going into preferences and then setting your email address. We will only use this email address in order to send you an email you'll use to activate your account, or to help you with any issues you may have with GroceryList. It will NOT be used for spam and will not be shared with anyone else. The online grocery list is at here, but it isn't much use unless you have it linked to your Pre or Pixie GroceryList :).

The add item button has been moved into search, since I think you get the most benefit out of GroceryList by searching first, then adding. Note that tapping the '+' button from the search screen will use the last string you searched for - which will hopefully save you a little time.

Once you are done shopping, you can tap the "Checkout" button to empty your shopping list. Note that emptying your shopping list does not remove anything from the "Previous Items" list.

You can manage your Categories and Aisles from the "Manage Data" button shown on the shopping list page.
